We are partnering with Get Outdoors Nevada (GON) on a Volunteers in Parks (VIP) program. The program encourages volunteers to give back closer to home and promote the long-term stewardship of their neighborhood parks
The goal of the program is to engage residents in a minimum of 12 volunteer events per year bringing together residents who live near parks in order to create community ownership. View the events calendar.
Volunteer events include:
- beautification
- park cleanups
- tree plantings
- painting
- cleaning playground equipment
- graffiti removal
- mural touchups
- park landscaping improvements
- community builds
