Welcome to our new K9s!

Wilbur and Scarlett are specially trained in security checks, special events, investigations and more to help enhance public safety.

We officially welcomed our newest public safety team members: Wilbur and Scarlett.

Scarlett and Wilbur are both Labrador retrievers. Scarlett is 2 years old and will be working with our Marshals. Wilbur is 18 months old and will be working with our Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Bomb Squad.

Both Scarlett and Wilbur, and their handlers, recently completed an intensive six-week, 240-hour, K9 training course where they got to know each other and practice the techniques they will use in the field.

They are specially trained in security checks, special events, investigations and more to help enhance public safety.

Wilbur is the very first canine to join Las Vegas Fire & Rescue.
