The Rainbow Company Youth Theatre
The Rainbow Company Youth Theatre is a nationally acclaimed, award-winning youth theatre group, which operates under the city of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs. For over 40 years, the company has provided theatre art classes and a professional training program for young people. To buy tickets visit us here.
The core of the Rainbow Company is its ensemble of 40 dedicated students, ages 10 to 18, selected annually through open auditions. The Rainbow Company Ensemble members work in all aspects of theatrical production. Under the tutelage of professional directors and designers, they learn about the creation of the show’s costumes, make-up, sets, lights, sound and backstage crew responsibilities. Serving as an Ensemble member requires participants to make a serious commitment to learning the art of theatre.
Theatre classes are offered year-round for young people ages 4-18 at Charleston Heights Arts Center. Those who are 4-12 years of age concentrate on improvisation, acting and creative drama. Older, more experienced, young people explore classes in all aspects of theatre. See the available 2022 Rainbow Company Youth Theatre classes online.

When Wiggins goes to 221B Baker Street to retrieve the ring, she is shocked to find out how much Holmes knows about her based on his quick observation. After Wiggins sees Holmes use the ring to solve a case, Wiggins proposes to work as his assistant. Intrigued by her potential, Holmes agrees to begin training Wiggins on a trial basis, so long as she helps Mrs. Hudson with the chores. Wiggins and Holmes must learn to trust each other as Wiggins and her group of street urchins help him solve two dangerous mysteries: “The Red Headed League” and “The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle.” This play is recommended for ages 8 and older.

Synopsis: From the Tony Award-winning songwriting team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (“Seussical,” “Ragtime”), comes the Olivier Award-winning “Once on This Island.” This highly original and theatrical Caribbean adaptation of the popular fairy tale, “The Little Mermaid,” garnered eight Tony nominations for its Broadway run, including Best Musical, Book and Score. Ti Moune, a peasant girl, rescues a wealthy boy from the other side of the island, Daniel, with whom she falls in love. Unbeknownst to Ti Moune, the pompous gods who preside over the island make a bet with one another over which is stronger, love or death, the stakes being Ti Moune's life. When she pursues Daniel, who has returned to his people, Ti Moune is shunned because of her lowly status. Her determination and capacity to love, though, is not enough to win Daniel's heart, and Ti Moune pays the ultimate price. But the gods turn Ti Moune into a tree that grows so strong and so tall, it breaks the wall that separates the societies and ultimately unites them.
