The Historic Westside School was previously known as Las Vegas Grammar School #1, the oldest school in Las Vegas. In 2023 the school officially became 100 years old. The school hosts a design center, which focuses on the past, present and future of the Westside. The design center provides a location for community engagement where events, meetings, lectures, training and social gatherings can take place. The center features a “stained glass” window wall featuring images from the area’s many churches, pews recovered from the Greater New Jerusalem Church, a murals, a historical timeline detailing the area’s heritage, and information about the HUNDRED Plan in Action and upcoming projects for the Historic Westside. advanced manufacturing, construction trades, information technologies and
