The HUNDRED (Historic Urban Neighborhood Design Redevelopment) Plan was developed in 2016 as a plan for community-led investment in the Historic Westside. UNLV and the Historic Westside community partnered together to develop the plan, which focuses on community, identity, economy, housing and civic investments.
The plan was adopted by the city of Las Vegas. The city subsequently funded the HUNDRED Plan in Action: Aligning the Implementation Strategy for the Historic Westside Phase One Report, which centers on how to advance initial, catalytic projects in the community, identifies physical locations for the projects, details funding needed to support them and identifies partners who could come together in both the physical and programmatic development of the projects. With the community in the lead, and bolstered by a number of individuals, community organizations, and civic leadership, there is momentum to see the vision of the Historic Westside community realized.
